Student Groups

Aboriginal Youth Partnership (AYP)

AYP is a youth based organization that spreads awareness within York Region about Aboriginal issues.  In the spring of 2014, AYP held a month long fundraiser for OLPC Canada including Change 4 Change, an awareness raising event at Castlemore Public School. As a result of their efforts, AYP was able to provide 20 tablets to participants of an Aboriginal summer camp in Niagara regions.

Cardinal Carter Catholic High School Students

The Me to We group at Cardinal Carter Catholic High School raised funds for OLPC Canada through their annual Electronic Waste Event. Three bins were filled over 10 tons of electronics, and 10 tablets were donated to Aboriginal youth thanks to the initiative.
